HOTEL SLUMBER PARTY FOR KIDS!!?
I’m 7 1/2 months pregnant with my 2nd child and I wanted to throw a big HOTEL SLUMBER PARTY for my 7 yr old son and invite as many of his cousins n friends round his age.
My questions are:
WHAT IS THE AGE GROUP? (5-11)
WHAT’S SOME GOOD GAMES, MOVIES & TOYS FOR THEM?
WHAT KINDS OF LIL FOOD, SNACKS & DRINKS? (I was thinking order pizza, buy other snacks & lil drinks w my quest card)
My son is pretty ‘wild’ when he gets around other children but sometimes don’t know how to conduct himself when in a big group like that. I guess it’s more of an excitement for him being like "Yay, I have play buddies now." So he kinda go haywire and act without thinking. Although I know that he’s really happy, friendly and glad to be around other kids and wanting to get out of the house. I feel really bad though that no one comes over to visit him here at home or no one invites him over (mainly bc of his wild behavior) and it hurts me. It hurts me that he’s the same way in school. He don’t know how to play without being so rough or hitting others but as a single parent I’m trying to help him in every way possible. I want him to be able to enjoy everything that I’m trying to do before the baby comes 12/12/09. I’m trying to just flush him with as much entertainment & fun things as possible not only to let him know that I care and love him but to also give him freedom!! I’m a house cat and he’s like a wild bull once out the pen. So I thought that on their next off school days (Oct 29 & 30) I can throw this BIG HOTEL SLUMBER SLEEPOVER PARTY together for him. HOW DOES THAT SOUNDS???
Now ONE MORE PROBLEM, his school behavior days has been average & bad: defiant, disruptive, talkative, talkin out, talkin back to adults, hitting others, not completing classwork in a timely manner and a couple other things. What I’ll do is talk to him & give him at least 2 wks in Oct to improve his behavior in order to earn the party. That’s fair enough. School just started and he’s clownin already.
