Is it safe right now for Americans to travel to Mexico?
My family is planning to go on a 3 day Baja cruise and we have seen warnings about spring break travel to Mexico.

Im sure it is. You only hear about the bad things going on there. Your just as likely for the plane to crash on the way there that you would get hurt or killed in mexico. no worries!

I travel to Mexico weekly- and I live about 1/4 miles from the border in Arizona. I have heard these ‘reports’ but have not seen anything different then I ever have. I think most of the problems are on certain border towns but I also travel to Rocky Point twice a year and have not seen anything.
I would just advise being very careful, but that is smart when visiting any country. If you do go ashore, always go with somebody else and make sure people know where you are going.
Do not carry a lot of cash eaither.
