Adult Resorts in Mexico

Info on all-inclusive adult beach resorts in Mexico.

Where is the best place to travel in Mexico and why?!?

My husband and I have a beautiful 10 month old baby boy and desperately need to get away-alone! We are looking for a 4-5 night trip and DO NOT care about snorkeling! All-inclusive beach front property is a must. We need lots of (friendly) advice because we have never been to Mexico. We do require pretty beaches/water and lots of little drinks with umbrellas:) We are ready to travel in February, please give us some suggestions, reviews, and travel tips! Thanks so much in advance from two exhausted new parents:)
We are traveling from southwest Missouri. So far everything we have found is in the 00 range for 2 people for 5 nights. I know there are benefits to using a travel agent, but we have always booked our own trips. Mexico is proving to be a challenge though because there are sooo many places to go! Thanks for the input so far-very helpful:) Oh yeah, and we definitely want beach front as well.
Ryan, are Cancun and Playa del Carmen the same place? I am becoming increasingly confused about how these cities are related to each other!

Cancun is absolutely beautiful. White sands, beachfront hotels, resorts, everything. I haven’t been there since the last hurricane though and i heard that the sand has changed, there are cliffs (literally) where beaches used to be, 10 feet less of beaches in some places. I also heard that they have imported sand too. I have been 3 times and it was amazing then so i don’t think that wth all the effort being put forward, it could still look bad.

Playa Del Carmen… one of the best beaches in the Cancun area

Isla Mujeres… An island off of Cancun that has white sand beaches, sand everything you asked for. If you plan the trip right, you will be absolutely marveled at what you can do there.

CABOS… never been there. My parents have though. they stayed at an amazing resort that was payed for by the company. It could be very expensive though.

Oaxaca is gorgeous. There is so much to do there besides just beahces that you could spend entire weeks there without running out of tourist attractions.

Tampico… average beaches. don’t know anyone impressed by it.

Huatulco…I’ve gone there, although it was a while ago. It’s a beach in the state of Oaxaca. It’s not crowded because people usually go to the really popular beaches. It’s really nice though.

Puerto Vallarta… never gone. Friends tell me it’s absolutely amazing and i believe them based on their pictures.

    Acapulco… BEACHES

There are lots of places in Mexico that are not beaches but are still beautiful to go to. Try checking them out if you feel like it. Really study up on the places before you make a final decision though. You don’t want to make a mistake and come back in an even worse state than the one you’re in.

    Hello
You should always say where you are traveling from, that helps a lot. Also your budjet. I would recommend Nuevo Puerta Vallarta or Manzanillo as they both offer everything you could wish for. Check with Mexico Connects online too if you wish.

Closer to the border if you live on the west coast is Enseñada and Puerto Peñasco ( Rocky Point) but the beaches are not as good and the temputure could be chilly that time of the year.

Cabo San Lucas. It’s absolutely amazing there! I went there for my honeymoon and the best part was all the resorts down there will pay you cash money to visit their resorts and consider buying a timeshare. We did this only a couple times because we just wanted to relax, but its well worth it! They’ll even charted a boat for you. They have booze cruises just before sunset and its beautiful. There is so much you can do down there. Don’t go to cancun … the crime in cabo is very low and everyone is friendly.
