Who has been to Cancun?
My husband and I are planning a trip to Cancun in October. We are looking for a good price on an all inclusive package with airfare included as well. Can anyone recommend a good website to find a good deal and also recommend a good adult only resort? Thanks so much.

Sure I can recommend a few sites to help you book your trip. One good site I like is traveloni (I’ll provide you a link below) and also straight through Funjet and AppleVacations are other good sites to use.
You have a few options to choose from for your "adults only" resort and I’ll recommend a few, which are… Sun Palace Cancún is a nice relaxing "couples only" place and it’s on the quieter end of Cancún so you can get some relaxation and not be disturbed. This is the first and only "couples only" resort in Cancún so it may be something you would like. It also offers the biggest section of private white sand beach in Cancún. Another great place is Le Blanc Resort & Spa, which is "adults only" and very nice. This place is nice because it’s basically brand new. The last huge hurricane destroyed this hotel so they wiped it all out and renovated everything from the ground up. New ownership came in and they re-named it and made it adults only and it’s one of Cancún’s nicer "spa" resorts. The next one is an amazing brand new (opened in 07) resort called The Royal Cancún and is adults only as well. It offers rooms with double whirlpools, ipod w/ Bose surround sound system, plasma screen tv, and balcony/terrace with a hammock. Very nice and luxurious, but it can be a little pricey, but well worth it. I’ll give you the links I mentioned below and also… Yes, Tripadvisor.com is a great site to use. It’s a site where you can read reviews of real people whom have stayed at just about any hotel in the world and you can also look at photos of the resort you are searching. So, if you want to know more about the resorts I mentioned just visit Tripadvisor and type in the name of the hotel in the search bar and you can go from there. I am a member of the site and Iove it (I use it daily)… it’s a great site for travelers. Hope I was of help to you… besure to consider Royal Cancún… I think you will see that it’s a nice place. http://www.tripadvisor.com is a great way to research your trip, we went to play del carmen this year and found all the hotel information from tripadvisor. Also, check several sites for prices when you have decided, such as expedia and opodo, and also the hotel direct website to find the best rates!
It’s not Cancun-specific, but I’m a huge fan of http://www.tripadvisor.com. You can search by location and find hotel ratings, read what recent travellers had to say about them, find restaurant recommendations, list of things to do, etc.
There are many resorts in cancun, however I wanted to recommend you Sun Palace Resort which is a great place for couples. If you want you can check all reviews they have from travelers on tripadvisor.com
